Application fees

  • The application fee is Rs. 300/-, except for SC/ST candidates who are exempted from the fee.

  • Pay the Exam Fee Through Online Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking Mode.

Age limit

  • The minimum age for both posts is 18 years, and the maximum age is 22 years as of 31st August 2025. Candidates must be born between 01st September 2003 and 31st August 2007.

  • Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates is applicable, provided the posts are reserved for them.

The selection process consists of four stages:

  1. Stage-I (Computer-Based Online Examination):
    • Navik (GD): Section I (Maths, Science, English, Reasoning, GK) and Section II (Maths & Physics).
    • Navik (DB): Section I (Maths, Science, English, Reasoning, GK).
    • Passing marks vary for UR/EWS/OBC and SC/ST categories.
  2. Stage-II (Physical Fitness Test & Document Verification):
    • Candidates must clear a 1.6 km run, 20 squat ups, and 10 push-ups.
    • Detailed document verification will be conducted.
  3. Stage-III (Pre-Enrolment Medicals & Final Document Verification):
    • Candidates will undergo medical examination and final document verification at INS Chilka.
  4. Stage-IV (Final Verification):
    • Original documents will be verified, and candidates will undergo final medical checks before enrolment.

  • Chest: Well-proportioned with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.
  • Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
  • Hearing: Normal.
  • Tattoos: Permanent tattoos are only permitted on specific body parts.

SC/ST candidates will be reimbursed travel expenses for attending the examination, provided they submit the necessary documents.
